Schedule: Monday–Thursday, plus two Saturdays per month (alternating schedule)

Position Summary
Cupcakin' Bake Shop is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Quality Control Manager, Front of House (FOH) to oversee operational excellence across our five California bakery locations. This role is responsible for ensuring each store consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience through outstanding cleanliness, merchandising, organization, product presentation, and operational readiness.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and can identify and solve issues before they impact customers or team members. This position serves as the eyes and ears of the company across multiple locations and plays a key role in supporting store marketing initiatives, maintaining brand standards, and driving operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Store Standards:
- Conduct weekly visits to all California store locations.
- Evaluate stores for cleanliness, organization, product presentation, and overall guest experience.
- Ensure front-of-house areas consistently meet company quality standards.
- Monitor bakery displays, signage, merchandising, and visual presentation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and follow through on corrective actions.
- Complete store audits and provide detailed reports to leadership.
Operational Support:
- Ensure stores are properly stocked with necessary front-of-house supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels of retail packaging, cleaning supplies, marketing materials, and customer-facing items.
- Anticipate operational issues and proactively develop solutions.
- Coordinate with store managers to resolve maintenance, equipment, or facility concerns.
- Verify compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Marketing & Brand Activation:
- Assist with implementation of in-store marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Support seasonal launches, product introductions, and community events.
- Ensure marketing materials are displayed accurately and consistently across locations.
- Collaborate with leadership on customer engagement initiatives and brand-building activities.
Team Partnership:
- Build positive relationships with store managers and team members.
- Provide coaching and feedback regarding front-of-house presentation and customer experience standards.
- Communicate observations, trends, and recommendations to leadership.
- Serve as a resource for stores needing operational support.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, food service, quality assurance, or multi-unit operations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable traveling between multiple locations weekly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and basic reporting tools preferred.

Compensation: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week, Monday–Thursday, plus two Saturdays per month. Weekly travel between all California store locations is required.
